Tactmoda Mechanical Keyboard
Concept
Tactmoda is a mock brand for a high-end mechanical keyboard. Rather than explaining its features, the video focuses on mood, with the device moving and glowing in a foggy atmosphere. The goal was to create an appealing teaser that invites viewers to appreciate the product’s design through light, sound, and motion.
Visuals
The setting is a dark, foggy environment with minimal lighting. Keys rise and press themselves as the keyboard repositions in space. The glowing LEDs and fluid motion are designed to appeal to consumers of performance and gaming hardware.
Production Notes
Built in Cinema 4D and rendered with Redshift, the project uses volumetric lighting as a nod to gaming cinematics. Fields and effectors animate the keycaps and LED switches. Synthetic sound effects complement the visuals, making them feel as if they are generated by the keyboard itself.
